Dalton Resource Center
The Dalton Resource Center (DRC), a vision of Mrs. Marva Atkinson, was founded in November 2003. The center provides resources primarily for the children and young adults in the community. It also partners with the Dalton Senior Citizens Group to form a bond between the young and the old.

Located in Dalton, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, DRC holds classes in reading, writing, art, and computer skills on Saturdays. An annual two-week session is held during the summer.

Local teachers have shared their observations of positive attitude toward learning and increased test scores of children participating in the center
program.
